COLOR MINERALS Absolute Mineral Foundation, Concealer & Mineral Veil can be mixed with a facial moisturizer for sensitive or dry skin.
Before you get started, please know that mineral foundation should NOT be applied wet, using fingers, in large quantities or on damp skin – this will produce a cakey, uneven application. Our mineral foundations are highly concentrated and need to be applied in very small quantity, using a good dense bristle brush such as our Kabuki Brush.
Follow the steps below for a flawless coverage:
STEP 1
Firstly, swirl your Kabuki Brush on the Absolute Mineral Veil, tap off the excess on the cover then swirl in circular movements around your face.
The Absolute Mineral Veil is to absorb excess oil especially around the T-zone areas.
STEP 2
Use the Kabuki Brush; take some Absolute Mineral Foundation and buff by starting from contours of the face, forehead then the nose area. Buff powder onto the skin in a circular motion, starting on the outside of your face near your cheekbone. Swirl around your face and then approach your forehead, nose and cheeks.
You control the coverage from sheer, medium or full by the number of times you buff on the powder.
It is a buildable coverage powder so do not rush into putting too much on at one go.
It takes few seconds for the powder to “get into” your skin. Allow a few moments for powder to set in before adding on another layer to avoid heavy coverage. Alternatively, you can use the powder puff for heavier coverage.
STEP 3
To conceal flaws, tap a small amount of your Absolute Mineral Concealer onto the lid of your container. Use the Concealer Brush to pick up some and tap off excess minerals before attempting on the problem areas.
Lightly brush over areas of your face to cover skin issues, acne, broken blood vessels, discoloration and dark circles under your eyes until you achieve the coverage you desire.
STEP 4 (Optional)
Warm up your face and body with Absolute Mineral Bronzer colors using the Powder Brush (long brush). It is to get the effect of “candlelight” softness.
Sweep the bronzer onto the apple of your cheeks towards the temples.
Dust a little over your nose bridge. You can use it on eyelids as base and even on your lips for that extra sheen on your lipstick color or lip-gloss.
STEP 5
Finishing touch would be with another layer of the Absolute Mineral Veil depending what type of look you like to achieve.
For those who have oily skin and need light touch ups, Absolute Mineral Veil is recommended.
*Remember to make 2-4 holes on your sifter stickers. Do not remove the sticker.
Highly recommended and widely use as a great protection and make up after a skin peel or facial treatment when your skin is most sensitive and needs protection.
